Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst (China Focus) - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst on Insikt Group’s Strategic and Persistent Threats (SPT) team, you will lead efforts to track state-sponsored APT campaigns, mentor peers in intrusion analysis, represent Insikt Group’s expertise externally, and support Recorded Future’s Analyst-on-Demand service.

• Mentor colleagues on intrusion analysis best practices.
• Collaborate with geopolitical analysis teams.
• Propose new data sources and analytical methods.
• Represent Insikt Group externally as a subject matter expert.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Information Security and/or Threat Intelligence.
• Experience in technical threat analysis and research.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols.
• Experience with malware analysis and family attribution.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python preferred).
• Experience with structured analytical techniques.
• Familiarity with threat modeling frameworks.
• Understanding of APT groups’ activities and TTPs.
• Strong communication skills for customer interaction.
