M&E Technician - Remote

Overview

The M&E Technician will perform maintenance service requests efficiently while ensuring minimal disruption. This role involves checking malfunctioning equipment, scheduling preventative maintenance, and overseeing contractors.

• Perform maintenance departmental service requests.
• Check malfunctioning equipment and restore to operating condition.

• Maintain and monitor building systems including HVAC and electrical.

• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies.
• Prepare purchase-order requests.
• Train contractors on building critical functions.
• Adhere to emergency escalation procedures.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in a data center/critical facility.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5+ years related work experience.
• Operating Engineers license (SMA) or equivalent.
• Certification as a Universal Technician for CFCs.
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Proven record of excellent customer service.
