Lead Building Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Lead Building Engineer is responsible for overseeing the efficient operations and maintenance of all building systems, ensuring tenant comfort and supervising the operating team.

In Short

• Supervises and directs maintenance staff.
• Performs and directs maintenance service requests.
• Checks malfunctioning equipment and determines corrective actions.
• Manages departmental staff including selection and scheduling.
• Monitors operation of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Provides training and support to operations staff.
• Participates in facilities remodeling and planning activities.
• Oversees CMMS PM program and maintenance tasks.
• Plans and manages budget sections for facility repairs.
• Ensures compliance with safety training requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school education.
• 5+ years of experience in facility/plant engineering.
• Universal EPA 608 Certification.
• Exposure to HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Proficient in basic computer applications.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
