Access and Video Software and Hardware Sales Engineer - Remote

Overview

This position involves providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support for SAFR's access control and surveillance products, requiring a strong understanding of hardware and software solutions.

• Build deep knowledge of SAFR’s combined hardware and software solutions.
• Provide technical expertise to customers and partners.
• Lead technical presentations for various audiences.
• Configure and deploy SAFR applications for customer deployments.
• Train integrators on SAFR hardware and software solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in customer environments.
• Collaborate with product engineering to resolve customer issues.
• Act as an advocate for customer needs within the company.
• Willingness to travel within the US and Canada 10-40% of the year.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or extensive experience.
• 3+ years experience as a systems engineer or technical support engineer.
• Hands-on experience with video surveillance solutions and installations.
• Experience with access control systems and related technologies.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems; Linux is a plus.
• Experience with REST APIs is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
