Overview

The Reading Guru is seeking a current or former elementary school teacher/interventionist with structured literacy experience for a part-time, remote, commission-based Sales & Scheduling Coordinator role.

In Short

• Conduct consultation calls with prospective families
• Explain Orton-Gillingham tutoring services and recommend support
• Respond to educational concerns regarding dyslexia and reading challenges
• Coordinate tutoring schedules with families and tutors
• Match families with tutors based on skills and availability
• Explain student needs to tutors during the matching process
• Manage multiple conversations via phone and text
• Part-time, flexible hours, Monday–Friday

Requirements

• Elementary classroom teaching experience
• Understanding of dyslexia and structured literacy
• Highly organized with strong logistical skills
• Familiarity with IEPs and structured literacy programs
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Compassionate and understanding demeanor
• Fluent in American English
• Available M-F for at least 10 hours per week
