Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

Reach Security is seeking Data Engineers at all levels to design, build, and manage robust data pipelines within a Lakehouse architecture, playing a critical role in developing scalable solutions for analytics.

In Short

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Apache Airflow or Dagster.
• Collaborate with Platform and Product teams on data ingestion and transformation strategies.
• Optimize data models and schemas for analytical queries.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across environments.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance bottlenecks.
• Define engineering best practices and standards.
• Identify opportunities to enhance pipeline efficiency and reliability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Apache Airflow or Dagster.
• Expertise in Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse architectures.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and workflow orchestration.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Foundation in data modeling and optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proactive and collaborative mindset.
• Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder.
