Overview

The RCX Sports Foundation works to develop, promote, and implement diversity and inclusion in youth sports as the non-profit arm of RCX Sports. The foundation focuses on expanding youth sports opportunities so all children can experience athletics in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. No child’s circumstance in life should ever keep them from the lifelong benefits of sports. Sports for all.

In Short

• Manage daily financial activities including invoices and vendor relations.
• Prepare financial reports such as monthly statements and annual filings.
• Assist in budget forecasting and financial reporting for the Board.
• Monitor cash flow and develop financial stability strategies.
• Provide weekly status reports on funds to ensure compliance.
• Ensure compliance with non-profit financial regulations.
• Oversee third-party accounting firm and potential bookkeeper.
• Assist in compiling financial statements for grant applications.
• Track financial performance of grants for compliance.
• Stay informed about changes in financial regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in financial management, preferably non-profit.
• Expertise in non-profit finance and 501(c)3 regulations.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
• Familiarity with tax implications for non-profits.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling.
• Ability to manage accounting staff and external partners.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for presenting financial information.
