Drone Operator - Contract - Remote

Overview

Raptor Maps is hiring Drone Operators who will manage mission planning and drone flights, ensuring accuracy and quality in data collection.

In Short

• Manage daily drone operations and mission planning.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Work remotely with core hours between 8:30am and 8:30pm ET.
• Maintain mission calendars and documentation.
• Utilize DJI enterprise sUAS systems for data capture.
• Communicate effectively with the internal team.
• Document all work and deviations from operations.
• Must be physically located in the contiguous US.
• Requires FAA Part 107 certification.
• Drone equipment will be provided.

Requirements

• FAA Part 107 certificate.
• Proven safe flight operations experience.
• Proficiency with DJI enterprise sUAS systems.
• Attention to detail in scheduling and documentation.
• Ability to work shifts of four to ten hours at least three days a week.
• Effective communication skills across various platforms.
• Experience with utility scale solar inspections preferred.
• Familiarity with team communication tools like Slack.
• Must have a dedicated workspace and reliable internet.
• Able to learn new computer systems quickly.
