Technical SEO Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Technical SEO Specialist is responsible for the overall technical health and optimization of client websites. Sh/e ensures that best practices for crawlability, indexability, technical performance, code attributes, structured data, and permalink configuration (among many other things) are followed. The Technical SEO Specialist manages many critical, behind-the-scenes aspects of our clients’ SEO campaigns.

In Short

• Actively participates in same-page meetings with the SEO Manager.
• Keeps track of relevant metrics in the weekly operations scorecard.
• Conducts comprehensive technical SEO site audits to identify issues and opportunities.
• Implements site navigation with information hierarchy and silos.
• Develops internal linking strategies and troubleshooting.
• Ensures proper indexability through robots files, meta tag directives, and canonicalization.
• Maintains crawlability by addressing server errors and maximizing crawl budget.
• Manages sitemaps for on-site and GSC submission.
• Monitors site speed and executes necessary updates.
• Effectively leverages structured data across websites.

Requirements

• Experience in technical SEO practices and strategies.
• Strong analytical skills to track and interpret metrics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical SEO issues.
• Familiarity with tools for site audits and performance monitoring.
• Knowledge of multilingual SEO settings and best practices.
• Proficient in managing server errors and site speed optimization.
