Overview

The Finance Manager supports the organization’s financial planning, grants financial management, and oversees financial reporting processes, working closely with the CFO and program teams.

In Short

  • Support organizational budgeting and financial planning.
  • Partner with program teams to develop budgets and track performance.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
  • Manage financial aspects of grants, including budgeting and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Development team on grant proposals.
  • Monitor funding compliance and reporting obligations.
  • Work with the Assistant Controller on financial operations.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting for leadership and the Board.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 5–7+ years of nonprofit finance or accounting experience.
  • Experience managing foundation and government grants.
  • Familiarity with donor compliance and financial reporting.
  • Strong financial analysis and budgeting skills.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly.
  • Experience with financial accounting systems.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to RAN’s mission and values.
