Senior Data Analyst - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our dynamic team supporting one of our premiere clients on a cloud migration, on-prem into GCP, project. You’ll become part of a team of cloud experts supporting one of the world’s largest email providers. You’ll be navigating large datasets, building robust queries, and identifying inconsistencies with precision and insight.

In Short

• Write, optimize, and execute complex SQL queries in BigQuery.
• Analyze large datasets to assess data quality.
• Utilize advanced BigQuery features for high-performance analysis.
• Use Python for exploratory analysis and data manipulation.
• Support time series analysis and anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on data pipelines.
• Perform comparisons of data across systems.
• Use Airflow for pipeline logic.
• Work within the GCP environment.
• 5% annual travel required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in data analyst roles.
• Strong BigQuery, SQL, and Python skills.
• Experience building solutions on GCP.
• Strong analytical skills for data validation.
• Ability to understand Java or Scala code.
• Familiarity with Airflow.
