Overview

The Security Lead for Security Operations at Rackspace Cyber Defence is responsible for managing a multi-disciplinary security operations center (SOC) to ensure the security of customer environments against evolving cyber threats.

Requirements

• 14 years of experience in SOC and Security Engineering.
• Experience managing a team of Security Operations Engineers.
• Familiarity with cloud-native security monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of security standards like NIST, ISO27001, and OWASP.
• Experience with security controls and risk analysis.
• Degree in computer science, engineering, or IT (preferred).
• Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
