Senior Software Test Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Test Engineer, you will assist with activities related to architecture, design, and development of test automation, working closely with Product Engineers to enhance the robustness of Rockwell Automation products.

In Short

• Design, create, execute, and maintain tests and test environments.
• Check automated tests results and report software defects.
• Ensure appropriate coverage of automated and manual tests.
• Support team in functional and system requirements analysis.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues.
• Learn about network communication protocols used in Industrial Automation.
• Guide less experienced team members.
• Monitor and evaluate testing processes.
• Facilitate communication within the team and with remote stakeholders.
• 5+ years of experience in a tester position.

Requirements

• Experience using programming and scripting languages.
• Knowledge of software process development.
• Understanding of computer networks.
• Basic knowledge of industrial control systems.
• Good English skills (written and verbal).
• Master's or bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of Python 3 and test frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes.
• Knowledge of network communication protocols.
• PLC programming knowledge is a plus.
