Overview

As a Systems Integration Engineer at OTTO By Rockwell Automation, you will be involved in designing and implementing autonomous mobile robots and software solutions, delivering training, and contributing to product requirements and roadmaps.

In Short

• Design and implement fleets of OTTO autonomous mobile robots (AMR).
• Deliver training to integration partners and end-users.
• Evaluate use cases and establish best practices.
• Commission and integrate AMR systems globally.
• Optimize system performance through analysis and experimentation.
• Communicate technical details to customers and project teams.
• Provide Tier-3 technical support to customers and partners.
• Travel for business within North America, Europe, and Asia (~50-60% travel).
• Work on software logic design and modification.
• Collaborate with the systems engineering team to improve processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
• 3+ years of experience with industrial automation.
• Experience with AMR/AGV systems integration.
• Proficiency in PLC design and integration.
• Ability to author and modify software code (Python, C++, etc.).
• Experience with Ignition OPC/UA and/or FT Optix.
• Valid full driver's license.
• Willingness to travel for business.
