Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Software Engineer at QAD, you will work within a development team to help build new software and enhance existing QAD software products, contributing to solving real-world problems in manufacturing and the supply chain.

In Short

• Analyze, develop, enhance and maintain QAD software applications and tools.
• Create test plans, design specifications, and perform unit testing of source code.
• Define requirements for new features or modifications.
• Provide input to technical training documents.
• Support early adopter customers and troubleshoot escalated issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years experience in a software development environment.
• Development skills in Java, C#, C++, and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with SQL or other relational database software.
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix and RDBMS.
• Good spoken & written English skills.
• Basic understanding of client-server and API architecture.
• Experience working on an Agile/SCRUM team.
