Overview

As a Software Engineer at QAD, you will work within a development team to help build new software and enhance existing QAD software products, contributing to solving real-world problems in manufacturing and the supply chain.

In Short

Analyze, develop, enhance and maintain QAD software applications and tools.
Create test plans, design specifications, and perform unit testing of source code.
Define requirements for new features or modifications.
Provide input to technical training documents.
Support early adopter customers and troubleshoot escalated issues.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
3 to 5 years experience in a software development environment.
Development skills in Java, C#, C++, and object-oriented programming.
Experience with SQL or other relational database software.
Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix and RDBMS.
Good spoken & written English skills.
Basic understanding of client-server and API architecture.
Experience working on an Agile/SCRUM team.
