Position Overview:

As a Land Acquisition Specialist for renewable energy projects in Thuringia, you play a crucial role in identifying and securing suitable land for the development of wind, solar (PV), and battery storage projects (BESS). Your work directly contributes to the implementation of our 1GW project pipeline and supports our growth in the German market through greenfield development.

In Short

• Identify suitable locations for photovoltaic, wind, and storage projects in close collaboration with the GIS team.
• Early identification of planning risks and restrictions, especially regarding planning law and potential environmental impacts.
• Build and maintain contacts with landowners and representatives of public institutions (e.g., municipalities).
• Independently negotiate and conclude lease agreements for wind farm, photovoltaic, and storage projects.
• Conclude easement agreements for internally identified potential areas as well as own project approaches.
• Support project development by securing infrastructure land, for example, for access roads and grid connections.
• Develop and introduce new approaches to land securing and actively shape the acquisition processes.
• Contribute to expanding the project pipeline and successfully implementing the greenfield development strategy.

Requirements

• Experience in land acquisition or a related field.
• Knowledge of renewable energy projects.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Familiarity with GIS tools.
