In Short

• Develop an exhaustive understanding of what drives a customer’s business and what motivates their decision making
• Connect technology solutions to measurable customer business outcomes
• Partner closely with account managers and specialists to drive revenue growth
• Showcase the advantages of Pure Storage solutions
• Provide technical leadership on storage products and architectures
• Control evaluations and system configurations
• Deliver technical product presentations to customers
• Capture requirements and translate them into innovative solutions
• Lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
• Stay current with competition and market trends

Requirements

• BS in CS, EE or equivalent experience
• Pre-sales experience is required
• 5+ years of relevant experience in technology and sales
• Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based solutions
• Familiarity with modern web architecture (LAMP stack, AWS, microservices)
• Experience in targeting new prospects
• Knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures
• Experience with Linux and NFS file systems
• Strong knowledge of digital transformation and cloud architectures
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
