BI Developer/Engineer, Front-End (React & JS) - Remote

Overview

The Business Intelligence team is seeking a skilled BI Developer with a Front-End focus to contribute to the development of Looker infrastructure and content, serving as a primary intelligence source for our clients. You will collaborate on building pipelines, services, and infrastructure to support Looker dashboards and applications integrated within our internal SaaS platform.

In Short

• Develop React-based Looker Extension Framework applications.
• Collaborate on the development of infrastructure, content, and front-end of applications.
• Research methods to streamline application workflows.
• Develop Looker Extension Framework applications and individual features.
• Expose large quantities of data to users while maintaining clarity and interactivity.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and React.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Work hours from 1pm to 10pm IST.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Good understanding of event handling and state management.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation.
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
• Experience with front-end development tools like Webpack.
• Experience with communication between iframes.
• Familiarity with global state management libraries like Redux.
• Experience with server state management libraries.
• Good understanding of Cross-Origin Resource Sharing.
• Familiarity with UI Component development and styling.
• Proficient in LookML and SQL (nice to have).
• Familiarity with GCP, specifically BigQuery (nice to have).
