Overview

The Brokerage Associate will be a key member of the Brokerage team at Public, focusing on operations related to account management, money movements, and trading, while also optimizing systems and workflows.

In Short

Contribute to the Brokerage team with a focus on operations.
Manage daily operations and ensure smooth workflows.
Lead projects and analyses to support business growth.
Resolve trade and allocation breaks with custodians.
Monitor unsecured debts and manage exception reporting.
Work cross-functionally with Client Experience.
Identify opportunities to improve and automate systems.
1-3 years of experience in fintech or brokerage.
Knowledge of Retail Brokerage Operations.
Possession of Series 7 and/or 63/66 certifications.

Requirements

Experience in a dynamic environment like fintech or brokerage.
Working knowledge of equities, options, and fixed income.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Comfortable making quick decisions.
Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations.
Experience with Looker is a plus.
Active Public.com member preferred.
