Overview

The Behavioral Health Care Manager (BHCM) provides evidence-based treatment to cancer patients via telehealth, ensuring collaboration with oncology teams for seamless care.

In Short

• Conduct structured assessments of mental and behavioral health for oncology patients.
• Develop treatment plans using evidence-based approaches.
• Implement treatment modules and assess patient progress.
• Maintain a patient registry aligned with the Collaborative Care Model.
• Participate in weekly consultation meetings with a consulting psychiatrist.
• Communicate with oncology teams about patient progress.
• Target 65% patient-facing time in caseload management.
• Engage in ongoing training and supervision.
• Maintain licensure in home state and obtain additional state licensure as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy from at least one US state.
• Ability to support a diverse caseload of patients.
• Experience delivering care in a virtual setting.
• Experience with oncology or chronic medical conditions.
• Experience supporting patients with suicidal ideation or trauma.
