Senior Monitoring & Observability Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are currently seeking experienced experts to support the project 'Service Layer Platform' (IT API) for a leading bank. This initiative aims to establish uniform guidelines, processes, and technologies for the development and operation of API services, ensuring consistent service quality and high release capability, allowing for faster and more efficient implementation of new services.

In Short

• Further development of monitoring and observability strategies and solutions.
• Analysis of existing requirements and systems (IT operations, projects, other stakeholders).
• Creation of a future-proof concept for processes, automation, tooling, and costs.
• Ensuring that monitoring requirements are met and systems function optimally.
• Training and supporting team members in the use of monitoring and observability tools and practices.
• In-depth knowledge in the development and implementation of monitoring and observability solutions including alerting, dashboards, and reports for end-to-end business services.
• Experience in designing business services (including interfaces, API environment).
• Several years of experience in concepts for monitoring and observability.
• Very good communication and teamwork skills, including the creation of training materials.
• Solid knowledge of common tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
• Experience with on-premises, cloud environments, and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).

Requirements

• Fluent German skills (documentation, training in German).
