Software Engineer (React, Node.js) - Remote

Overview

A large digital platform in a regulated domain is being further developed and expanded. The core application was recently implemented and is now entering a long-term enhancement phase, focusing on stability, scalability, and continuous feature delivery within a distributed engineering setup.

In Short

• Further development and maintenance of an existing web application
• Implementation of new features in collaboration with a Switzerland-based development team
• Active participation in an agile, distributed team environment
• Ensuring high code quality, maintainability, and performance
• Technical collaboration across frontend, backend, and DevOps disciplines
• Frontend: React, TypeScript, Next.js
• Backend: Nest.js (Node.js)
• Solid experience with modern web architectures and clean coding practices
• Cloud / DevOps experience, ideally Microsoft Azure
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Terraform

Requirements

• Experience with React and Node.js
• Familiarity with TypeScript and Next.js
• Understanding of cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience with MS SQL Database and container applications
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices
• Ability to work in a distributed team
• Strong coding practices and attention to detail
• Experience with TypeORM and Terraform
