Overview

Provide services and support as a Defense Waste Processing Facility (DWPF) Integrated Independent Evaluation (IIE) Specialist (EX100) at Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina.

In Short

• Provide support for internal and external assessments, evaluations, audits or surveillances for the Self-Assessment Program.
• Develop document and communicate the planning of all QA support functions through the project life cycle.
• Incorporate quality assurance engineering practices into problem solving and program planning.
• Support facility/project needs by conducting reviews/approvals in various areas.
• Evaluate proposals and make recommendations based on proposed programs/tasks.
• Plan, prepare, conduct, and report on surveillance and assessment of quality-related activities.
• Coordinate corrective action responses to external assessments, audits, or surveillances.
• Perform general Cognizant Quality Functions duties as the Subject Matter Expert.
• Review and track various deficiency documents.
• Provide project QA guidance and compliance oversight.

Requirements

• Specialized knowledge in analytical chemistry, radiochemistry, and nuclear facility operations.
• Extensive hands-on experience with computers and various software applications.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Skills in effective communications techniques, assessment planning, and report writing.
• Ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks.
