The scribe performs medical record documentation and clerical duties to increase provider effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity for improved patient flow and satisfaction.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English required
• Work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST
• Prepare and assemble medical record documentation
• Transcribe medical record documentation during patient visits
• Update patient medical records as directed by physicians
• Collaborate with healthcare staff on lab results
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulations
• Perform clerical duties to improve provider productivity
• Must reside in approved states for virtual work
• Typing speed of 45+ WPM required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen
• Ability to obtain proof of vaccinations as required
• Residency in a state approved for virtual work
• Ability to understand and maintain HIPAA regulations
• Must possess a personal computer and high-speed internet
• Ability to work shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours
• Ability to sit for extended periods and view computer monitors
• Ability to communicate in a diverse environment
