Overview

The Case Management Associate will assist the Case Management department in the administration of CM functions to include telephonic outreach to members; monitoring of member eligibility; updating database information and research of support services for families. This is a full-time position.

In Short

  • Supports Case Managers in communication with members.
  • Directs callers to appropriate staff with good customer service.
  • Verifies member eligibility according to policies.
  • Conducts outreach and follow-up calls to members and providers.
  • Documents member and provider information in the database.
  • Performs data entry into client-based systems.
  • Completes scripted introduction calls to Provider offices.
  • Transfers clinical questions to Nurse Case Manager.
  • Attends meetings for Quality Improvement updates.
  • Maintains confidentiality and adheres to company policies.

Requirements

  • Must reside in CST/MST or PST time zones.
  • 1 – 3 years of customer service experience in healthcare.
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) preferred.
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Call center experience strongly preferred.
  • Professional communication skills required.
  • Problem solving skills necessary.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, & Word.
  • Self-motivated and organized.
  • Commitment to excellence in customer service.
