In Short

  • Probo Medical is seeking a Field Service Engineer with Nuclear Medicine experience.
  • The position is home office-based with travel to regional customer locations.
  • Responsibilities include installation, repair, maintenance, and calibration of diagnostic imaging devices.
  • Trains medical staff on the safe use of imaging equipment.
  • Documents all inspections, repairs, and adjustments performed on equipment.
  • Completes service reports and expense reports as required.
  • Maintains knowledge of current service software and imaging technology.
  • Participates in educational programs to maintain technical aptitude.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items up to 100 lbs.
  • On-call service coverage may be required.

Requirements

  • Degree in electronics, biomedical engineering, or equivalent.
  • Five years' experience servicing Nuclear Medicine and/or Biomedical equipment.
  • Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electronic equipment.
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and network technology.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call service schedule.
  • Adherence to customer requirements for facility access.
