Overview

As the Engineering Manager — Data Science Engineering at PrizePicks, you will lead a team to develop, test, maintain, and evolve initiatives in streaming data, productionized algorithms, and MLOps infrastructure to mature PrizePicks’ digital offering.

In Short

• Lead a team to create and maintain sport and user data stream architecture.
• Collaborate with Data Science team for operationalizing DS/ML assets.
• Steer design and deployment of data, MLOps, and API stack.
• Partner with Engineering, QA, and Product teams for data products.
• Empower teams to build monitoring and alerting services.
• Solidify information through documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Act as a thought leader in the technology organization.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a people leadership role in Data Science Engineering.
• Experience working cross-functionally with data teams.
• Proven experience in shipping and maintaining production-grade systems.
• Experience with simulation frameworks and real-time ML implementations.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle principles.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, and cloud services like GCP.
• Passion for daily fantasy sports and understanding of the competitive landscape.
