Overview

The Sr. Enrollment Systems Manager is responsible for managing enrollment processes within the athenahealth system, ensuring compliance and efficiency in electronic transactions for healthcare providers.

In Short

• Configure and maintain payer enrollment tables within the athenahealth system.
• Act as a liaison between various teams to resolve enrollment issues.
• Ensure alignment of payer IDs and provider group enrollments.
• Oversee timely processing of payer ERA and EFT enrollment submissions.
• Monitor released claim activity and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Collaborate with finance teams for banking setup and EFT reconciliation.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and payer regulations.
• Develop SOPs for enrollment processes.
• Generate and analyze athena enrollment reports.
• Identify automation opportunities for workflow enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in provider enrollment or healthcare IT.
• Strong knowledge of athenahealth system and payer enrollment workflows.
• Knowledge of EDI transactions and HIPAA standards.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enrollment portals.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities collaboratively.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
