Overview

The Sr. Director, Revenue Cycle Optimization is a key leader responsible for driving financial performance and operational efficiency across the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team.

• Lead and mentor high-performing teams across Revenue Optimization and Revenue Integrity functions.
• Develop and execute strategic plans that support growth and operational efficiency.
• Foster collaboration across departments to support financial and operational goals.
• Manage offshore RCM vendor relationships and performance.
• Implement process improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
• Drive automation strategies to optimize workflows.
• Oversee Revenue Optimization team for chargemaster setup and compliance.
• Lead Revenue Integrity teams for payer performance audits.
• Partner with compliance teams to mitigate financial risks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management.
• Strong people management experience required.
• Proven expertise in payer auditing and underpayment recovery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
• Experience using Athena EHR required.
• Experience with RPA tools preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of payer reimbursement policies preferred.

Benefits

• Base salary of $145,000 to $150,000.
• Eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 20%.
