Overview

The Medical Claims Billing Specialist (AR Manager) is responsible for managing accounts receivable, resolving claim issues, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize revenue cycle management.

In Short

• Manage accounts receivable and analyze aged AR.
• Investigate and resolve denial sources.
• Make decisions on claim adjustments and appeals.
• Collaborate with internal teams and care center staff.
• Support large care center go lives with possible travel.
• Work with Revenue Optimization team for reimbursement alignment.
• Ensure achievement of department KPIs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Graduate.
• 3+ years experience in a physician medical billing office.
• GA physician billing experience preferred.
• Experience with Google Workspace preferred.
• Experience with major payers like Anthem, Medicare/Medicaid.
• Athena EHR experience preferred.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills required.
• Understanding of revenue cycle performance drivers.
• Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations.
