Overview

The ADAP Insurance Broker plays a vital role in helping clients navigate their insurance needs, particularly for those eligible for the Connecticut AIDS Drug Assistance Program. This position involves recommending and enrolling clients into suitable health insurance plans while providing ongoing support.

In Short

• Act as an intermediary between insurance companies and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business, economics, finance, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in an insurance broker position.
• Certification as a Certified Insurance Consultant (CIC) in Connecticut.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to operate office productivity equipment.
• Capable of remaining stationary for 50% of the time.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship.
• Ability to hear and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
