The Prior Authorization Support Specialist will assist healthcare providers by managing prior authorization workflows, ensuring documentation is accurate and timely while communicating effectively with provider office staff.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on prior authorization experience.
  • Direct experience in hospital/clinic central authorization or pharmacy technician role.
  • Understanding of medical and pharmacy benefit PA workflows.
  • Experience navigating PBM requirements.
  • Proven communication skills with provider offices.
  • Strong documentation discipline.
  • HIPAA compliance knowledge.
  • Must reside in the Eastern Time Zone.
