Health Information Technology Specialist - Remote

Overview

This is a 100% remote opportunity, working East coast hours. As a Health IT Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to enhance patient care and improve end user experience.

In Short

• Conduct EHR workflow assessments with Institutional customers.
• Assist health systems in identifying gaps within EHR systems.
• Problem solve and provide solutions for EHR gaps.
• Collaborate with clinicians and IT teams to ensure patient safety.
• Develop comprehensive plans for priority institutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide education on EHR optimization resources.
• Support healthcare teams in improving patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with EHR software.
• Clinical IT experience or Clinical Informatics preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare and interoperability.
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to travel overnight.
