Overview

The Senior Finance Analyst – Clinical Solutions Portfolio is a strategic, business-partnering role responsible for portfolio-level financial analysis across Clinical Solutions departments. The primary focus is project and portfolio financial health, including forecasting, budget performance, and financial controls, with an expanding remit into trial operations KPIs and measures as they relate to budget integrity, scope control, and delivery efficiency.

In Short

• Own and deliver portfolio-level financial analysis for Clinical Solutions departments.
• Lead project financial oversight across the full project lifecycle.
• Perform variance analysis to identify drivers of change and risks.
• Partner with project finance teams to ensure data integrity.
• Support and enhance departmental forecasting and planning processes.
• Monitor budget consumption and earned value indicators.
• Provide insights for proactive financial decision-making.
• Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and reporting standards.
• Develop and maintain trial operations KPIs and measures.
• Leverage Excel and Power BI for dashboards and analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of related experience.
• Experience in project finance, FP&A, or operational finance.
• Experience managing or analyzing clinical trial portfolios.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Understanding of clinical trial financial drivers.
