Overview

Precisely is looking for a Product Manager who has hands-on experience working with or building Cloud-Native Spatial products and technologies. Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding of industry trends of leveraging spatial data and analytics for solving complex business problems within the enterprise. Understanding how to collaborate in a matrixed organization to drive a vision for the role of location intelligence in the data and AI landscape is critical to the success of this role.

In Short

  • Leading the product lifecycle for Spatial Analytics solutions, from ideation and development to launch and adoption.
  • Designing and building SaaS-focused APIs for spatial capabilities that enable seamless integration into enterprise workflows.
  • Collaborating closely with engineering, UX, and data teams to develop user-centric features that enhance spatial analytics capabilities.
  • Engaging directly with enterprise customers to understand use cases, pain points, and opportunities, ensuring our solutions meet market needs.
  • Working with cloud partners (AWS, Google, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks) to optimize our offerings within modern data and analytics platforms and ensuring seamless integration with cloud-native ecosystems.
  • Driving product roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and execution based on data-driven insights and customer feedback.
  • Champion and innovate across adjacent product management teams within Precisely’s Data Integrity Suite.
  • Supporting sales, marketing, and enablement teams by developing positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Leveraging analytics and KPIs to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Educational requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, GIS, Data Science, or a related field) preferred. Equivalent work experience will be accepted in place of a degree.
  • Years of experience: 5+ years of experience in Product Management.
  • 5+ years in spatial analytics, GIS, or location intelligence.
  • 3+ years in designing and building APIs for spatial capabilities in SaaS platforms.
  • 3+ years working with modern data & analytics platforms such as Google BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, and Databricks.
  • Strong understanding of geospatial data and spatial analytics.
  • Experience with cloud-native SaaS products and microservices-based architectures (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience designing and building APIs for integrating spatial analytics into enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design principles, authentication (OAuth, API keys), and API documentation best practices.
  • Strong analytical and customer-centric problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with and ideally building API designs.
  • Travel required: Yes, approximately 20%.
  • Qualifications that would be a plus but not required: Experience working with Precisely’s Data Integrity Suite or similar enterprise data platforms.
  • Prior experience working with large enterprise customers in data management or geospatial intelligence.
  • Knowledge of spatial ETL processes and automation.
