Referral Specialist (Spanish Fluency Required) - Remote

Overview

The Referral Specialist will enroll clients referred to Pomelo’s doula network by health plans, providers, and doulas, while educating clients on the benefits of doula care.

In Short

• Conduct outbound calls and digital outreach to referred clients.
• Document all incoming referrals and interactions.
• Match clients with existing doulas in the network.
• Coordinate with health plan case managers and providers.
• Track and enroll referrals, ensuring timely processing.
• Manage inbound calls from potential clients.
• Achieve enrollment goals based on company KPIs.
• Confirm client’s health plan eligibility details.
• Participate in training to stay current on healthcare trends.

Requirements

• Fluent in Spanish.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with healthcare referral systems.
• Ability to work remotely.
• Familiarity with Medicaid health plans.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
