Intermittent Cost Estimator - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Intermittent Cost Estimator to join our Operations team. The Intermittent Cost Estimator will work for PMA Consultants as needed, and your schedule will consist of specific hours as assigned and approved by local leadership, in accordance with client needs.

In Short

• Analyze and estimate costs for operational projects.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and finance teams.
• Utilize cost estimating software tools proficiently.
• Develop summary and detailed level cost estimates.
• Review contract documents for cost obligations.
• Gather and incorporate progress data into cost updates.
• Identify trends and anomalies in cost data.
• Communicate cost estimate status effectively.
• Work independently with limited guidance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of electrical construction estimating experience or 10+ years of field experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with NECA.
• Ability to work independently.
