Construction Manager - Hybrid Remote

Overview

The Construction Manager will oversee project management and construction management services during the design and construction phases, focusing on project controls and feasibility.

In Short

• Participate in initial field reviews to discuss project alternatives.
• Maintain a level approach to project construction design.
• Conduct field reviews to develop construction activity plans.
• Write a narrative construction plan aligned with the engineering scope.
• Compile Google Earth map sets of construction work areas.
• Develop a list of required project permits.
• Support entering the project into EHSync.
• Consult and negotiate with the GCC for preliminary construction schedules.
• Participate in the bidding process for project work.
• Support project construction kickoff meetings and regular construction meetings.

Requirements

• Experience in Project Management and Construction Management.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost controls, and risk analysis.
• Ability to develop detailed construction plans and schedules.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with project controls and QA/QC documentation.
• Experience in managing contractors and construction teams.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in using project management tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
