Overview

The Outside Sales Representative will play a key role in accelerating the adoption of Plug Power's GenKey systems by identifying, engaging, and converting new business opportunities in the material handling sector.

  • Remote role based anywhere in the US.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Utilize digital platforms for lead generation.
  • Lead prospects through the full sales cycle.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity in CRM software.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally for customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and expand existing customer accounts.
  • Stay current on market conditions and trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in outside sales.
  • Strong hunter mentality for prospecting and closing deals.
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%).
  • Demonstrated business acumen.
