AI Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are a team of entrepreneurs, psychologists, and engineers bringing joy back to therapy. At PlaynVoice, we are reshaping mental health care by combining AI with clinical expertise to make documentation a breeze. In just ten months, our AI scribe has gone from concept to reality, gaining 300+ users in Switzerland and Germany. We are generating over 1,500 patient notes weekly. We are looking for entrepreneurs; fast, ambitious, and smart individuals who want to take care of the people who take care of our mental health.

In Short

• Adapt and Implement AI Models: Integrate state-of-the-art language and speech models tailored to our product’s specific use cases.
• Data-Driven Development: Design experiments and use data insights to validate product features and drive continuous improvement.
• Robust Evaluation Pipelines: Establish comprehensive evaluation processes covering audio ingestion, transcription accuracy, and especially LLM-generated content quality.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the product team and psychologists to define initiatives and verify evaluation outcomes.

Requirements

• A strong passion for AI innovation and a solid background in software engineering (preferably within a SaaS start-up).
• Several years of experience working with large language models, including prompt iterations, systematic evaluations, and techniques like prompt engineering and fine-tuning.
• Familiarity with our stack: Python (ML, FastAPI, Celery workers) and Typescript (Vue frontend, PWA), and hosted in containers on Azure.
• A pragmatic analytical thinker and problem solver capable of thriving in a high-paced environment while driving solutions through to production.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a working understanding of German to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
