Cash Application Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Cash Application Analyst will perform day-to-day cash application activities, ensuring accurate processing of cash transactions and customer inquiries.

In Short

• Post manual checks, wire transfers, and ACH deposits.
• Process credit card transactions and payments.
• Research invoices to apply cash received from customers.
• Handle customer refund requests and inquiries.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts related to cash application.
• Perform daily offsets, write-offs, and reversals.
• Collaborate with the Treasury team and banks.
• Perform month-end responsibilities on time.
• Ensure unapplied cash is accounted for before month-end close.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in cash application.
• Understanding of accounting standards and procedures.
• Experience with ERP systems and payment gateways.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
