Overview

As a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) at Planet, you will drive complex efforts that cross many teams and organizational boundaries, focusing on execution and risk management.

In Short

• Lead Constellation Services development initiatives from formulation through operations.
• Enhance the quality of the Pelican and Tanager mission lines.
• Partner with key program stakeholders to scope and execute strategic projects.
• Communicate technical progress and changes to stakeholders.
• Facilitate technical discussions across teams.
• Manage cross-functional projects with a focus on customer impact.
• Drive the development of new technology initiatives.
• Ensure smooth execution of assigned programs.
• Act as a core member of the Program Management Team.
• Support the Mission Director in developing new capabilities.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Technical Program Management or Product Management experience.
• Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management and systems engineering experience.
• Experience with aerospace programs and software systems.
• Ability to influence without authority.
• Eligible for US Export Control licenses.
