Pre-Sales Solutions Architect, Japanese Defense and Intelligence - Remote

Overview

As a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect, you'll demonstrate the value of Planet's data and services to help organizations within the Asia Pacific region (APJ) overcome their earth data challenges.

In Short

• Build and deliver presentations and product demonstrations highlighting technical capabilities of Planet’s platform.
• Create relationships with customers’ technical and management staff.
• Act as an advisor to recommend a solutions architecture that fits their business challenges.
• Assist with responses to tenders, RFI’s, RFP’s, proposals.
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams.
• Attain quarterly and annual sales and operational objectives.
• Represent Planet’s Defense and Intelligence needs to Sales leadership.
• Ability to present to key executive Government stakeholders.
• Act as a mentor to team members.
• Lead training to drive team development.

Requirements

• Maintain eligibility for access to Specially Designated Secrets.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years experience in supporting the Japanese Ministry of Defense.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 50%.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Experience working with GIS and Remote Sensing users.
• Experience in IMINT, ISR, and related fields.
• Experience with QGIS, SocetGXP, ArcGIS, GDAL.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with international customers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
