Senior Platform Engineer - Remote

We’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team and own the evolution of our infrastructure and tooling to make Plain scale with our customers and dramatically accelerate product teams.

In Short

• Lead key infrastructure initiatives including multi-region deployments and performance optimization.
• Build infrastructure that empowers other engineers, improving deployment speed and reducing test flakiness.
• Define the evolution of our use of AWS and manage infrastructure-as-code.
• Make impactful decisions to help deliver value to customers faster and more safely.
• Iterate on architecture to enable faster shipping and address pain points in the infrastructure.
• Work with a complex, event-based serverless system.
• Help define architectural decisions in a practical manner.
• Focus on productivity and impact rather than complexity for its own sake.
• Stay close to the work in a senior IC role.
