• Serve as the legal navigator for data privacy and cybersecurity compliance.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001, and SOC II standards.
• Draft and manage policies and procedures related to privacy and data protection.
• Guide the crew on legal responses to fraud and cybersecurity threats.
• Collaborate with Product and Marketing to ensure compliance with privacy laws.
• Conduct risk assessments and privacy impact assessments.
• Represent the company in discussions with regulatory authorities.
• Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with legal standards.
• Work effectively in a remote environment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Data Protection, Cybersecurity, and Privacy Compliance.
• JD from an accredited law school and bar membership.
• Experience managing compliance and privacy projects.
• Strong advisory skills for senior executives.
• Aptitude for handling complex legal issues in fast-paced settings.
• Exceptional legal research and drafting abilities.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
