Staff Web Engineer - Tech Lead - Remote

Overview

The Curation engineering team builds product features that are deeply engaging and uniquely Pinterest, including saving and creating Pins, Boards, and Collages, to inspire Pinners to create a life they love. We’re looking for a Staff Web Engineer to be the Tech Lead across Curation Web initiatives.

In Short

• Lead the team in developing Pinner-facing frontend features on Desktop Web and Mobile Web.
• Drive Web technical solutions and strategic objectives across multiple teams.
• Build effective alignment with design, product, backend and platform teams.
• Uplevel the team through mentorship, feedback, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of Web development and best practices in React/Redux.
• 7+ years of industry Web application development experience, 1+ years experience as a tech lead.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Strong mentorship and coaching abilities.
