QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

A detail oriented QA Engineer with automation and testing skills who will help deliver a high quality user experience to millions of pinners.

In Short

• Collaborate with engineers and teams to improve test coverage, release velocity, and subsequently production health.
• Design, code, and implement test cases, and integrate with automation suite.
• Create, maintain, and execute functional, regression, and exploratory tests.
• Proactively identify, track, reproduce, and triage bugs through resolution.
• Provide test case coverage, and defect metrics for substantiate release decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field or equivalent experience.
• Quality expert with an excellent product quality sense and experience working closely with mobile and web client development teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to think creatively while ensuring processes and procedures are properly followed.
• Experience in one of the following: Python, JavaScript or Java.
• Experience automating end to end UI tests for mobile, and/or web apps.
• Experience with API automation is a huge plus.
• Familiarity with Cypress, Espresso, XCUItest is desired.
• Ability to produce clear, concise communications and documentation.
• Highly effective at working in cross-functional groups and getting results in matrix organizations.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work on concurrent assignments with different priorities.
