Director, Design Program Management - Remote

Overview

Pinterest is looking for a seasoned Director, Design Program Management (DPM) to play a key role in expanding our Design Program Management organization. In this role, you will lead teams responsible for managing complex business programs and shaping our technical strategy to deliver scalable solutions.

In Short

• Lead, grow and manage a team of Design Program Managers (DPMs).
• Identify resource gaps and misaligned priorities.
• Collaborate with Design, product management, engineering, and cross-functional partners.
• Define and manage the operating rhythms for the Design team.
• Engage with stakeholders across engineering, product, and Design.
• Mentor and build a high-performing program management team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Design Program Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in design, business administration, or related field.
• Deep understanding of design process for software development.
• Proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of software development processes and best practices.
