Overview

PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Manager to oversee accessibility subject matter experts delivering training solutions to ensure compliance with the United States Access Board’s Section 508 Standards.

In Short

• Lead the development and execution of Section 508 compliance strategy.
• Advocate for accessibility in product and service development.
• Oversee comprehensive Section 508 compliance program management.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for accessibility integration.
• Engage senior leadership to align accessibility goals.
• Serve as primary advisor on accessibility compliance matters.
• Develop and deliver training programs on Section 508 standards.
• Mentor junior staff in accessibility roles.
• Lead audits and assessments for compliance verification.
• Prepare detailed reports on compliance status and metrics.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Section 508 standards and guidelines.
• Experience in leading audits and developing remediation plans.
• Ability to stay updated with changes in accessibility laws.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Experience in policy development related to accessibility.
• Collaboration with industry experts and participation in forums.
• Formal Agile or PM Certification preferred.
