Senior Underwriting Associate - Remote

Overview

The Senior Underwriting Associate will provide support functions to the New Business and Renewal Underwriting Teams. This role will be task and project-oriented, encompassing both standard responsibilities and variable duties based on demand.

• Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
• Fluency with internal systems and pricing knowledge.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 4 years of P&C Insurance experience required.
• 3 years of underwriting associate or relevant work preferred.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Adaptability with technology and process changes.
• Fluent in risk classification and related resources.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Critical thinking skills leveraging data.
• Demonstrates creativity and commitment to improvement.
• Knowledge of workers’ compensation classification systems.
